Busy Wednesday as we pencil in our runners for York next week

 In Latest News

We have a couple of interesting runners going to York next week in the shape of Scarlet Dragon and Beringer, both of whom ran corkers at Glorious Goodwood when not enjoying the best of runs, but, meanwhile, we have seven runners on Wednesday, three at Worcester and two at both Newton Abbot and Kempton.

Green Etoile, who will enjoy the fast ground at Newton Abbot (overnmight rain has changed the going to soft), attempts to follow up his winning debut over jumps at Hexham, and the market suggests that he has Dan Skelton’s Aintree winner Must See The Doc to beat. while he be accompanied on the trip down the M5 by Manor Park, who bumped into a smart Skelton horse at Ffos Las last time.

Alan is hoping that the forecast rain does not reach Worcester, where Potterman, who made a winning chasing debut over the track in June, returns there in an attempt to erase the subsequent disappointment at Ffos Las.

Potterman will be joined by Whenhellbrokeloose, who was runner-up in a similar race at Southwell last time, while Kings Royal Hussar, who has run three promising races on the turf, returns to the polytrack at Kempton.
