Now we can all hope for a good to soft Ebor for Trueshan
It’s all systems go for an Ebor Handicap tilt for Trueshan, who won his dress-rehearsal in game style at Haydock last week.
The same Barbury Lions syndicate also have a useful type in Tronada, who has won twice since racing resumed, at Lingfield and Chepstow, and they’ll all be hoping for some juice in the ground for Trueshan on the Knavesmire next month.
Other Barbury inmates to run well over the week-end were No Recollection, who, being a son of Dansili, probably found the soft ground over seven furlongs at Haydock against him when a close third at Haydock, while Just In Time made an encouraging reappearance after an absence of almost two years when finishing sixth at Newbury on Sunday.
Just In Time, who won six races in two seasons before his training setback, only began to tire in the last 300 yards and will have derived considerable benefit from this belated return.
