Paul Duggan

HEAD LAD

Paul moved from Tipperary to Wiltshire in 2008 to gain experience in the UK racing industry. He rode out for Alan for two seasons before being appointed head lad at Sharpridge Farm Stables. Paul comes from a racing background and was involved in thoroughbred breeding, racing and training from an early age. He has an honours degree in Equine Science from the University of Limerick.

   He worked for John Oxx, Tom Hogan and Gilltown Stud in Ireland, and spent time in America where he rode out for John Kimmel and worked at Dell Ridge Stud farm. He successfully ran his own breaking and pre-training business and had several point to point placings and a winner under rules as a restricted trainer.
