The Barbury team remain in high spirits
Monday October 2
Our last six runners have all finished in the frame, with Inn on the Bull winning back over hurdles at Worcester and City Dreamer coming from off the pace to score in the juvenile hurdle at Market Rasen last week.
City Dreamer, who broke a blood vessel on his last visit to the Lincolnshire track, won really well and will now probably enjoy a break, while Inn on the Bull, who ran a couple of pleasing races on the Flat during the summer, looks capable of being a fun horse for the winter.
Alan is still trying to squeeze a race or two into the youngsters before the Flat season ends, and he has a couple heading down to Salisbury on Wednesday, and while we tick along with the jumpers with entries at Warwick, Huntingdon and Fontwell, he will be hoping for another dry spell so that Oceane can take his chance on the level at Ascot at the end of the week.
