We give thanks to the all-weather
Sunday January 17
Rain and frost could well play further havoc with this week’s turf meetings, so we must be thankful for the all-weather menu that is on offer and Alan sends two to Wolverhampton tomorrow, Precision Five and L’Amiral David, both of whom are well au fait with the tapeta service at Dunstall Park.
Alan said:”It was almost a year ago to the day that Precision Five won at Lingfield on her first race for us, and she has been a great fun mare for her owners, the Calne Engineering team.
“She won off 64 that day, but her mark has risen to 85 following two more victories and five seconds. She pays for her consistency but she always runs her race and the last time she went to Wolverhampton she was only beaten a short head, so fingers crossed she will again be right there at the finish.
“L’Amiral David drops down in trip for the concluding maiden. He ran well for this far over the track in December, so we’d be hopeful that he’ll go well for David Sewell.”
