One Cool Dreamer keeps Barbury wagon rolling at Newmarket
Today was yet another example of how consistent the Barbury horses are running, and One Cool Dreamer kept up the good work when winning the mile and a quarter handicap at Newmarket this afternoon.
Despite being off a 5lb higher mark than when winning at Windsor last time, One Cool Dreamer, given a fine ride by David Egan, was well up to the task, taking command before the furlong-pole and sticking on well when challenged in the last 200 yards to win by two lengths.
One Cool Dreamer looks to have a splendid attitude and ought to win more races for The Maple Street Partnership, with Egan enthusiastic about the future when interviewed afterwards.
He said:”One Cool Dreamer should have no trouble stepping up to a mile and a half, He enjoyed the even pace which we went and pulled out a bit more when the second, ironically ridden by my father John, came to me.”
