Alan forks out close on 150,000gns at Goffs Spring Store Sale

Buoyant from seeing Baskerville make a winning chasing debut at Stratford on Sunday, Alan was in good spirits at Doncaster today, having bought a trio of three-year-olds at the Goffs Spring Store Sale.
Most expensive was the 75,000gns Alan, aided again by Anthony Bromley’s Highflyer Bloodstock team, laid out for Slavetotherhythm. His elder half-brother Claim The Throne won a bumper for Joe Tizzard at 25-1 at Exeter in February, beating a better-fancied stablemate in the process, so our new recruit could be exciting.
Alan also paid 54,000gns for a Master Rogue and 20,000gns for one from the same family as seven-times winner Passing Glance, who Alan knows so well
