Alan has moved swiftly to book Billy Loughnane for Daiquiri Bay at Doncaster next Friday

Kurakka did everything asked of him when winning his first handicap in style at Haydock on Friday night, and now we wait to see the reaction of the official assessor when his updated ratings are available next Tuesday.
Rossa Ryan, who had also previously ridden Kurakka to victory at Chelmsford, oozed confidence all the way round at Haydock, and when he asked his mount the question early in the straight the response was both positive and immediate.
It has been well documented how much Alan likes his lightly-raced three-year-olds this season, and, besides Kurakka, the vibes have been good for Daiquiri Bay, who is entered for a novice at Doncaster’s evening meeting next Friday.
Tom Marquand was impressed with Daiquiri Bay when he won a maiden on him at Chester last month, but like Rossa Ryan and plenty of other leading jockeys, he looks certain to be on duty at Epsom on Oaks day, so Alan, well aware that a fistful of other top riders will be heading to Goodwood in the evening, has moved smartly and booked the rising young superstar Billy Loughnane for Daiquiri Bay on Town Moor.
Daiquiri Bay looked exciting on the Roodee when confirming the promise he had shown on his debut at Newbury last back-end, and he could prove to be a bargain buy at 62,000gns from last year’s Guineas sale at Newmarket.
