Midnight Glance worth a look at Wincanton

We have four runners on Thursday, two over jumps at Wincanton and another brace heading off to Chelmsford for their all-weather meeting.

Alan said:”Midnight Glance won well in first-time cheekpieces at Exeter last time and has the headgear on again at Wincanton. He is now 8lb higher, but he seems to prefer right-hand tracks so, hopefully, he’ll go well again.”

Also at Wincanton is On To Victory, who is back over hurdles and 7lb lower than when he last won over jumps at Warwick 20 months ago.

Alan added:”On To Victory might not have won on the Flat this summer, but he ran some good races and I should have never run him in the November Handicap at Doncaster as the ground was far too deep. He’s been schooling well for his return to hurdling and underfoot conditions should also suit him.”

Mayfair Gold gave Godolphin’s odds-on favourite a fright at Kempton on only his second run in October, so she is interesting in the maiden at Chelmsford.
