In addition, as part of the 12-month term (to 31 July 2026) we will host a box at the races (racecourse and date tbc) and organise a bespoke tour to include a leading stud and other equine related facility (venues and date tbc) – giving our members the opportunity to gain a real ‘behind the scenes’ insight into racing.
All horses will be leased by the Club from Alan King and we guarantee that there will always be three horses in the Club – should a horse be unable to continue racing (eg through injury or sale) then a substitute horse will be provided.

I’D GO MANIAC (FR)
2019 G Bow Creek ex Saint Goustan
I’d Go Manaic has been in training for a couple of seasons and was a very impressive winner of his bumper at Market Rasen last summer by five and a half lengths. We gave him a winter break, bringing him back on the Flat at Leicester in July, where he was a very good third, just narrowly beaten for second. The winner is now rated 87 and the second is rated 82, and as it was only over a mile and a quarter, which would be plenty sharp enough for him, we’re sure there’ll be even more improvement when we step him up to a mile and a half. He promises to be a good dual-purpose horse as he has also schooled well over hurdles.
UHTRED RAGNARSON (IRE)
2021 G Holy Roman Emperor ex Spanish Berry
Uhtred Ragnarson has been placed in one of his three runs in bumpers when third at Huntingdon. He’s since had three runs over hurdles, placed each time and has had a good late spring/summer break to develop. He’s just come back into training, and he looks an ideal a horse to have plenty of fun with down the novice handicap route this coming season.

GHOST DANCING
2022 F Outstrip ex Sula Island (unraced)
Ghost Dancing is a lovely filly that I’ve bred, having raced her mother Sula Island, who won twice on the Flat and also over hurdles at Market Rasen – Ghost Dancing is her first foal. We did a little bit of pre-training with her last year and then gave her time off to mature, since coming back in, she has worked away and schooled really well. We’re really looking forward to going down the junior bumper and three-year-old NH hurdle route with her in the autumn.
