Paul Johnson

Paul started working at Barbury Castle eight years ago. After working as an electrician for ten years he wanted to pursue his dreams to work in racing. He attended the Racing College in Doncaster, where he completed the 12 week foundation course and has since gone on to complete his Level 2 and Level 3 in Racehorse Care and Management. He has always had huge interest in racing and before starting his career at Alans he regularly attended his local track Down Royal. Paul enjoys going racing and he had the pleasure of looking after some fantastic horses as a stable lad. Horses such as 17 -time winner Sceau Royal and Royal Ascot Hero Who Dares Wins.  Paul has worked terribly hard over the years to work his way up to being Head Lad and is an integral part of the team.
